All credentialed media members are invited to attend the Joint Service Open House. The following information details the dates, times, parking procedures and rules you are expected to follow while at Andrews AFB. Questions regarding the Joint Service Open House should be directed to the 11th Wing Public Affairs office (Media Division) at 301- 981-4511. To facilitate the working press, a Joint Information Bureau (JIB) will operate in Hangar 4 with Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard public affairs professionals available to answer questions, assist you with stories and photo opportunities. In addition, press kits will be available to credentialed media members. Only those with valid identification press will be allowed access.
The 11th Wing Public Affairs office does NOT provide media credentials to press members. Press members who are on assignment from specific media outlets must provide a letter of assignment from the editor.
Attention freelancers: While we appreciate your interest in the 2011 Joint Service Open House, we are unable to support freelance photographers and journalists who have not been retained by recognized media organizations to cover the event. However, you are more than welcome to attend the event as a member of the general public.
